        abstract = {The background of this research is that the description of the application of
Mah{\=a}rah Kit{\=a}bah learning which is carried out in some religious tertiary
institutions is still not optimal. There are several problems that occur which can
hinder the improvement of students' Arabic language skills in tertiary institutions,
including the absence of equalization of Arabic teaching materials for each level,
from the lowest to the highest. This causes the ability of the Arabic language of
each student to be different, therefore the researcher offers the application of an
interactive book of Mah{\=a}rah Kit{\=a}bah learning methods with the book of the Natiq
method, volume3.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the stages of applying the natiq
method book as well as see the effectiveness and improvement of Mah{\=a}rah
Kit{\=a}bah in semester 5 students majoring in Arabic Language Education at
Darussalam Gontor University, Ponorogo, using the natiq method book. This is a
quantitative and quasi-experimental study. The techniques used for data collection
are observation, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. The data analysis
technique uses the t-test technique.
The results of this study are 1) the stages of learning natiq book are the
formation of sentences in Arabic (Takwinul Sum Fil Lughah 'Arabiyah), the
stages of applying bound expression material in Arabic (Ta'birul Muqayyad Fil
Lughah 'Arabiyah), the stages of applying free expression material in Arabic
(Ta'birul Hur Fil Lughah 'Arabiyah), Stages of applying paragraph formation
material in Arabic (Takwinul Faqrah Fil Lughah 'Arabiyah). 2) the Mah{\=a}rah
Kit{\=a}bah ability of PBA students in semester 5 of S1 Unida Gontor is quite
adequate, based on the results of the pretest in the control and experimental
classes, 3) There are differences in ability in Arabic writing skills (Mah{\=a}rah
Kit{\=a}bah) in the experimental class and the control class. In the control class, it was
classified as having sufficient results, while in the experimental class it was
classified as good and there was an increase.}
