Not only can it be read, but students can also see the cartoon characters talking and moving, accompanied by backsounds and voice actors for cartoon characters in multimedia comics. This study aims to determine the effectiveness, practicality, quality of multimedia comics in improving cognitive learning outcomes by using the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques used are interviews, documentation, questionnaires, tests, and observation. The results showed that: the validation results of multimedia comic linguists obtained a score of 88%, which means very valid or very feasible. media validation in multimedia comics obtained a score of 88%, which means it is very valid or very feasible. validation of thematic material in multimedia comics obtained a score of 89.33%, which means it is very valid or very feasible. validation of natural science material in multimedia comics obtained a score of 90.66%, which means it is very valid or very feasible. . Multimedia comics get 100% positive response from students as seen through a questionnaire of students' responses to multimedia comics. evidenced by the following results: there are all correlation coefficients with a value (r) greater than 0.329 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05. This means that there is a positive correlation between cognitive learning outcomes and learning motivation with a moderate level of relationship, and the correlation is significant because p <0.05 (0.000 <0.05). This proves that multimedia comics are feasible to be used in the learning process in the classroom. The minimum pretest score was 30 and the posttest yielded an increase of 72. The maximum pretest and posttest score was 100. This indicated that the students' cognitive learning outcomes had increased. %K Komik Multimedia, Hasil Belajar, Perkembangan Kognitif %D 2023 %I UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA %L digilib58918
