"The incident of sexual violence that is occurred in the community, especially in the\r\neducational environment, raised to concern from various parties of society. The\r\neducational environment should become a comfort and safe place to study, but\r\ncases of sexual violence still occur in it. This problem attracted the attention of\r\nfemale clerics to carry out a movement to prevent sexual violence, especially after\r\nthe first Congress of Indonesian Women Ulama (KUPI) was held in Cirebon in\r\n2017. This research examines the role of female clerics in efforts to prevent sexual\r\nviolence in the educational environment and the strategies used.\r\nThis research is a qualitative research using a descriptive analysis approach. The\r\nsubjects of this study were three female clerics from D.I Yogyakarta who have\r\ncontributed to efforts to prevent sexual violence, namely Nyai Khotimatul Husna,\r\nNyai Siti Muyassarotul Hafidzoh, Nyai Maya Fitria. Primary data was collected\r\nthrough observation, in-depth interviews with informants, and documentation.\r\nMeanwhile, secondary data was obtained from the results of previous studies\r\nrelated to the focus of research, whether in the form of books, journal articles, or\r\nothers. The analysis in this study was carried out using pedagocgic theory.\r\nThis study found two major points, namely: first, the three female clerics studied in\r\nthe study have a role as driving actors in efforts to prevent sexual violence in the\r\neducational environment. This role is manifested in concrete actions taken as an\r\neffort to prevent sexual violence in educational settings, especially Islamic\r\nboarding schools. Among the concrete actions are: women and children friendly\r\nIslamic boarding schools, socialization of reproductive health and stunting\r\nprevention, halaqah around Islamic boarding schools, reciting the Koran with\r\nBilqolam boarding students, socialization of SKS-2 (Stop Sexual Violence), studies\r\nof women's jurisprudence and reproductive health. Second, in making efforts to\r\nprevent sexual violence, the Nyai use strategies to overcome the challenges they\r\nface. Among the strategies carried out, namely: building networks with\r\nstakeholders, proposing the formation of the Bantul KPAID, transforming the\r\nconcept of a women and children friendly boarding school against sexual violence,\r\ndrafting the SKS-2 syllabus, voicing through the literary medium of novels,\r\nproviding complaint boxes and suggestions. Third, the roles and strategies carried\r\nout by the three female clerics are evidence that female clerics apply the pedagogic\r\nconcept of teaching and providing education to students and all participants in\r\nactivities carried out as a learning process, so that there is a stimulus and response\r\nbetween the participants and the ulema, women called pedagogic behaviorism\r\napproach."^^ .
