By using a 3R-based waste management system (reuse, reduse, and recycle), it is hoped that waste handling can be overcome directly from the source. Thus reducing the capacity of waste generation transported to Piyungan Landfill. As one of the 3R TPS in Sleman Regency, TPS 3R Brama Muda through its programs related to waste management, is able to provide many impacts and benefits to the community. Based on this presentation, this study tried to explore information about the waste management strategy of the Brama Muda 3R TPS in Dayakan Hamlet, and the obstacles faced in implementing strategies based on aspects of 3R-based waste management. This research method uses qualitative descriptive methods, namely by data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. In informant determination techniques and sampling techniques using purposive sampling based on infroman criteria. After collecting data using these techniques, it will be seen the validity of the data and data analysis through several stages, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion based on SWOT analyst theory and Theory of Constraint. The results of this study show that the waste management strategy carried out by TPS 3R Brama Muda based on the SWOT matrix is determined by 4 strategy scenarios, each strategy is: 1. Strenght ? Opportunity (SO) strategy is defined by the term improvement of facilities and infrastructure, 2. The Weakness ? Opportunity (WO) strategy is defined by utilizing the potential location of TPS 3R as an educational tourism theme, 3. Strenght ? Threat (ST) strategy, defined by terms of increasing community role and participation, 4. Weakness-Threat (WT) strategy, defined by the term improving the quality of human resources. As for knowing the obstacles faced by TPS 3R Brama Muda is to identify obstacles based on waste management aspects that are based on institutional aspects, operational aspects, regulatory aspects, community participation aspects, and financing aspects.} }
