Empowerment of coffee farmers carries out by MPIG-KAJSS is in accordance with the Law Number 19 of 2013 concerning the Protection and Empowerment of Farmers article 1 paragraph (2). Therefore, the purpose of the research conducted was to describe the empowerment processes and strategies carried out by MPIG-KAJSS. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive strategy and a sociological approach. Data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation; in which triangulation of data collection techniques was carried out to test the validity of the data obtained in the field. The data obtained is data that has been analyzed through Miles and Huberman?s interactive model, which consists of four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusions (drawing or verifying). From the results of this study, the researchers found two things. First, regarding the coffee farmers empowerment strategy carried out by MPIG-KAJSS, it has three majors, namely enabling, empowering and protecting. Second, related to the process of empowering coffee farmers carried out by MPIG-KAJSS through six of the seven stages described by Isbandi Rukminto Adi including engagement, assessment, planning, formulation action plan, implementation and evaluation. One stage that was not carried out was the termination stage or the formal separation stage between officers and the target community. The termination stage was not carried out because the accompanying staff came from internal MPIG-KAJSS.} }
