N2  - The economic growth of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) in terms of the
value of GRDP and GRDP per capita which has increased shows that DIY has good
economic performance. However, this was accompanied by an increasing problem
of income inequality. The city of Yogyakarta has the highest level of income
inequality in DIY. One of the Islamic solutions to overcome this problem is zakat.
Zakat potential in the City of Yogyakarta has not been optimally collected by the
Zakat Management Organization (OPZ). So as an effort to increase the potential
acceptance of zakat through OPZ. The purpose of this research is to analyze the
factors that influence the preferences of muzakki in the City of Yogyakarta in
channeling zakat through OPZ. Data collection was carried out on 100 respondents
using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is logistic regression with
data processing using the SPSS version 25 program. The results of the analysis
show that trust has a significant effect on the tendency of muzakki's preferences in
channeling zakat through OPZ. Meanwhile, religiosity and knowledge of zakat do
not have a significant effect on the tendency of muzakki's preferences in channeling
zakat through OPZ.
