abstract: Career interest in alumni is an important factor in supporting the success
of a university in producing competent human resources. Through a career
interest, especially in undergraduates who are in accordance with the study
program taken, it will help companies get employees effectively according
to their professionalism. This study aims to see the effect of perception,
motivation and financial reward variables on alumni's interest in having a
career in Islamic Banking. The measurement of these variables is based on
the theory put forward by Ajzen, I. (1991), namely Theory of Planned
Behavior. The sample for this study was Alumni of the Islamic Banking
Study Program UIN Sunan Kalijaga Year 2016-2018, a total of 75
respondents using the convenience sampling sample method. The analysis
technique used in this research is multiple linear regression test to test the
hypothesis which has previously been carried out by instrument test and
classical assumption test. The results of this study indicate that the variables
of perception, motivation and financial rewards both simultaneously and
partially have a positive and significant effect on alumni's interest in having
a career in Islamic Banking.
