To create a maximum learning process, the use of media and learning models must be appropriate and according to the characteristics of the material and individual students. This study aims to produce products, determine feasibility, and find out students' responses related to physics learning media in the form of STAD-type cooperative learning-based animation videos on Enterprises and Simple Machines materials for class VIII students. The research was conducted at SMP N 1 Mojotengah, Wonosobo. This research is an R&D research with a 4D development model involving the following steps (1) Defining, (2) Designing, (3) Developing, and (4) Dissemination. This research was carried out until the stage of extensive trials in the development step. The research instrument was an animation video validation sheet in the form of a column for suggestions and input, an animation video quality assessment sheet for material experts, media, and educators using a scale of 4 (Likert) made in the form of a checklist. The instrument for students is in the form of a student response scale, namely using the Guttman scale which is made in the form of a checklist. The results of the research that have been developed are in the form of STAD-type cooperative learning-based animation videos on Business and Simple Machines material for Class VIII. The quality of the animated video developed according to material experts is of very good quality (SB) with a score of 3.97, according to media experts it has good quality (B) with a score of 3.02, and according to educators it has very good quality (SB) with a score of 3, 98. In addition, the responses of students showed a score of 0.94 in the limited trial and 0.99 in the broad trial which were included in the agree category (S). The results of this study indicate that the developed animated video can be used as a science learning media in junior high schools.
