description: The increasing use of gadgets with a penetration of 5-12 years old at the present time is due to several factors that support this, including the times, busy parents, and the post-Covid-19 pandemic which not only has a positive impact but also has a negative impact impact such as addiction of gadgets. This research was conducted to find out how supervision is carried out by parents in minimizing addiction to gadget communication technology among elementary school-aged children in Malabar Village, Wanareja District. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive study approach. The research subjects used were seven parents who had elementary school-age children who already used gadgets. The results of the study show that the model of controlling the use of gadgets applied by informants in minimizing gadget addiction in children includes restricting acces, limiting time, limiting content, periodically monitoring, looking for diversion media, imposing sanctions, and building good communication with children. In addition, the impact of gadgets on addiction in elementary schoolaged children is more the excessive use of gadgets and neglect of work.
