Erni Munastiwi,MM. abstract: The decreasing use of the Javanese language in this community should be an awareness for educators of the importance of developing media to increase local language literacy. However, the fact that there is an increasingly rapid flow of information is that the existence of local language literacy is increasingly invisible. This is marked by the use of language in communicating every day changing to Indonesian. In fact, in the process of preserving regional languages, the next generation is an important point to be introduced to from an early age. So that this research aims to develop a Javanese language media to make it easier for educators to introduce local language literacy to children. The research and development model used is ADDIE which consists of five stages, namely: (1) Analysis, namely the stage of analyzing existing problems and research. (2) Design (Planning), is a stage in planning the development of the required media. (3) Development, namely the stage of developing the media that has been planned and conducting media validation. (4) Implementation (Planning), is the planning stage in the product trial process extensively. (5) Evaluate (Evaluation) the evaluation stage is carried out by using a product effectiveness test. As for the research subjects, there were 15 children in group A. The researchers used the pretest and posttest to see the impact of the media on local language literacy. The results of the study show that: First, the development of interactive Javanese media as a regional language literacy medium in early childhood goes through five stages. The results of this media development obtained a feasibility score of 84% from material experts, and 96.25% from media experts. Second, the impact of using interactive Javanese media is able to increase local language literacy.
