The type of approach used in this study is quantitative. The type of research used is quasi-experimental design. Data collection techniques used are questions, observation and documentation. Quantitative data analysis was carried out by means of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the study show that: 1) The use of the SIPEBI application is not effective in improving the Indonesian spelling comprehension of class V MI Al Huda students. This can be proven by a significant p value of 0.844. The p value is greater than 0.05 0.844 > 0.05 (0.844 greater than 0.05) so that based on the decision making criteria Ha is rejected. 2) The effective use of the SIPEBI application to improve the effective sentence writing skills of class V MI Al Huda students. This can be proven by the significant value of the p value of 0.011. The p value is 0.011 <0.05 (0.011 is smaller than 0.05) so that based on the decision making criteria Ha is accepted. 3) The SIPEBI application can improve students' ability to write effective sentences and use Indonesian spelling in composing invitation letters. This can be seen from the results of the VA class post-test and the VB class post-test results. 4) The advantages of the SIPEBI application in terms of skills include: first, being able to correct non-standard words into standard words; secondly, it can fix mistakes in writing prepositions in, to and from. The advantages in terms of understanding include: Being able to provide understanding for students, because there is a special table in the form of a report on the SIPEBI application after editing/checking. The disadvantages of the SIPEBI application in terms of skills include: first, it offers standard words that are similar to standard words that are already correct; secondly, it does not identify the writing of the title; third, do not identify capital letters in writing titles, names of people, and names of places; fourth, not identifying capital letters in the middle of a sentence, or after a comma.
