One of the films with the theme of body shaming, cyber bullying and positive body image is the film Imperfect: Career, Love and Scales. Film Imperfect: Career, Love and Scales is a romantic comedy film directed by Ernest Prakasa. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method by collecting data with documentation techniques. The data will be analyzed using Roland Barthes semiotic analysis. The message in the film Imperfect: Career, Love and Scales will be explained directly (denotation), in the second stage it will explain the deeper meaning, which is obtained from the interaction of signs and feelings as well as emotions and cultural values (connotation), and in the third stage it will be analyzed more deeply based on culture and messages conveyed (myths). The results of this study conclude three things; first, women in their careers are not only concerned with academic achievement or thoughts but also appearance. Second, a plan is not always smooth and not all businesses will succeed quickly, failure or incompatibility is normal in the career world. Third, in the career world, women cannot avoid empowering women themselves. In other words, women are required to be able to work well, have an attractive appearance and have exemplary attitudes. Furthermore, the representation of career women is depicted in the film, who initially had to live and become an ideal woman to become a woman who loves herself completely. Women can have careers just as well as men and can be the best version of themselves.} }
