This research answers several problems, namely 1) how to design the Islamic Astronomy Encyclopaedia application as a learning media for website-based phalacology courses, 2) how to build an Islamic Astronomy Encyclopaedia application that can help users and interested parties in obtaining the information they are looking for, and 3) how to apply the Extreme Programming method in designing and building a website-based Islamic Astronomy Encyclopaedia application? In this research, the extreme programming method was used to develop the system. This method is suitable for short-term system development and is suitable for user-orientated system development because developers and clients work together during system development. This co-operation increases the success of the system implementation. The extreme programming method involves four stages, namely planning, design, coding, and testing. Based on the results of the website-based Islamic astronomy encyclopaedia application that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the system can run and can be used easily. Proven by 100% alpha testing and 100% functional beta users state the system is running well, while beta usability states 47.5% Strongly Agree, 41.5% Agree, and 11% Neutral. %Z Pembimbing: Eko Hadi Gunawan, M.Eng
