N2  - Supplier selection is important in every manufacturing company. This is because
suppliers who supply raw materials will become long-term suppliers, so it is
necessary to make the right decisions in selecting alternative suppliers and in
accordance with company criteria. PT. Laksana Kurnia Mandiri Sejati is a
company that produces yarn. One of the raw materials used in the manufacture of
yarn is rayon. In fulfilling the raw material for rayon, the company uses four
suppliers. The selection of suppliers who will provide the supply of raw materials
is currently chosen randomly based on the availability of goods and the offers
given by the suppliers. Thus, the company needs to carry out a decision-making
analysis to choose the best alternative supplier that will supply raw materials.
Therefore, this study will identify the criteria and sub-criteria that serve as a
benchmark in supplier selection and determine alternative suppliers for the
company. The method used in this research is Analytical Network Process (ANP).
The results of the study show that companies select suppliers based on five
criteria from the most prioritized, namely price, quality, geographical location,
flexibility, and delivery. Of the five criteria, there are twelve sub-criteria. Where
the conformity sub-criteria with specifications is the most prioritized sub-criteria
in selecting alternative suppliers. Based on these criteria and sub-criteria, it is
known that the order of suppliers as an alternative to PT. Laksana Kurnia
Mandiri Sejati namely PT. Indo-Bharat Rayon with a value of 0.335983, PT.
South Pacific Viscouse with a value of 0.321693, PT. Asia Pacific Rayon with a
score of 0.192217, and finally Grasim Industries with a score of 0.150108.
