The type uses field research using a juridical, normative approach while the nature of the research uses descriptive qualitative and the data collection method used is observation, interviews, and documentation.  BPOM's research results have violated the supervisory function so that BPOM is responsible in accordance with Article 2 paragraph (1) of Presidential Decree No. 80 of 2017, while responsibility is in accordance with Law No. 8 of 1999 concerning consumer protection in the form of treatment costs and if it causes death will provide compensation to child's family. BPOM's efforts according to the maqaṣid syari'ah are protecting the soul and ḍaruriyah.
