Students are vulnerable to experiencing academic stress caused by the burden of responsibility to carry out knowledge in two places and demands for academic achievement. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how social support and academic stress relate to the psychological well-being of santri students. Three research instruments and a quantitative methodology were employed in this study. In this study, 200 santri students from Special Region of Yogyakarta served as the sample. Employing Pearson product moment correlation analysis approaches for quantitative analysis. According to the study's findings, social support and academic stress significantly influence psychological well-being, with a combined effective contribution of 47,4%. Academic stress was negatively connected with psychological well-being (p=0,001) and favorably correlated with social support (p=0,001), with an effective contribution of 25,7% for each independent variable, according to an analysis of each independent variable. %N 2 %K Social support, Academic stress, Psychological well-being, Santri students %P 189-205 %V 10 %D 2022 %I Faculty of Social & Humanity Sciences, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. %L digilib59946
