To answer this question the researcher collected qualitative data through interviews, observation, and documentation on three Uthmani Yogyakarta RTA’s students, where all three were second-year students with memorization the Al-Quran over five chapters. The results of the research conducted, it is known that each individual has factors that can encourage self-regulation as students and santri. In the process, each individual has experienced a decrease or no decrease. In contrast, those who have experienced a reduction in the process require process improvement so that the goals to be achieved are quite consistent with what is desired.
