%T ANALISIS SEKTOR INDUSTRI HALAL TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI NEGARA OKI TAHUN 2015 – 2020
%X The Muslim population has increased to 1.9 million. The Muslim population proves that the level of sensitivity of Islam in the market for various products is increasing. Economic growth is one of the objectives of the Islamic economy. As for achieving economic goals, one of the drivers from the production side is industry. Currently the industry that is currently developing is the halal industry, where its development is in various sectors, namely Islamic finance, halal food, halal tourism, halal fashion, and halal medicines and cosmetics. This study aims to analyze the halal industry sector on economic growth in OIC countries in 2015 – 2020. This research uses panel regression data with a random effect model, which comes from secondary data taken from the world bank and salaam gateway. Based on the findings, it shows that Islamic finance, halal food, and halal tourism have a significant positive effect on economic growth. Then, halal fashion has a positive but insignificant influence on economic growth. Then drugs and cosmetics have a significant negative effect on economic growth
