During this period, significant changes occur physically, biologically, mentally, emotionally and psychosocially. Teenagers' unpreparedness can affect juvenile delinquency, such as low discipline. As with students at MAN 3 Bantul, from observational data and interviews with guidance and counseling teachers at MAN 3 Bantul, which explains that there are still many students who have low self-discipline. In this case the researcher chose the group guidance treatment to improve student discipline. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling to improve the discipline of students of class XI Religion MAN 3 Bantul. This study uses mixed methods, to analyze quantitative data the researcher uses a comparative research type which aims to compare discipline before and after being given an intervention while to analyze qualitative data the researcher uses a qualitative descriptive research type. The population in this study were students of class XI Religion II MAN 3 Bantul. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study were 10 students. Data collection tools used are the disciplinary scale, interviews and observations. Data analysis used a paired sample T-test with the help of the IBM SPSS 26 for Windows program. The results of this study stated that the hypothesis in this study was acceptable, evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 {\ensuremath{<}} 0.05, which was supported by observational and interview data which also showed that there was an increase in students' disciplinary attitudes from before being given group guidance treatment to after being given group guidance treatment to improve discipline. So it can be concluded that group guidance services are effective for increasing the discipline of class XI religious students of MAN 3 Bantul.} }
