%X Research in this thesis discusses the influence of educational background and employee status on the assets of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. With indicators used for educational background, namely high school, sarja and postgraduate, while the indicators used for employee status are permanent employees and contract employees. This study was conducted to see the influence of educational background and employee status on the increase in assets of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research. The sampling technique in this study uses simple random sampling and obtained samples of 6 sharia commercial banks in Indonesia, namely Bank Aceh, Bank BCA Syariah, Bank MEGA Syariah, Bank Panin Dubai Syariah, Bank Muamalat and Bank BJB Syariah in the period 2018 - 2022. The method used is panel data regression. The test results found that high school and undergraduate education background did not affect the increase in assets of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia while postgraduate education background had an influence on increasing assets of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. The status of permanent employees and contract employees does not affect the assets of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia.
