The sample in this study were 80 students from the Islamic Banking Study Program, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, class of 2019 and 2020 with a population of 248 students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. Process the data using the Warp-PLS 8.0 application. The results of this study indicate that the social capital variable has a positive and significant effect on interest in working in Islamic banking, while the self-esteem variable has no effect on interest in working in Islamic banking. In addition, self-actualization is not able to mediate the relationship between social capital and interest in working in Islamic banking and self-esteem towards interest in working in Islamic banking.} }
