The presence of stocks indexed as Sharia-compliant has become one of the significant elements generating numerous research issues. This is due to the Sharia index creating a more homogenous set of companies compared to non-Islamic indices in relation to capital structure. This research employs panel data from 51 year-firm observations. The data is derived from 17 manufacturing companies consistently listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) during the 2017-2021 period. This data is selected through purposive sampling technique. The findings of this study reveal that corporate governance does not fully influence the magnitude of the capital structure; leverage has a complete impact on the capital structure, and profitability does not affect the capital structure. The research aims to contribute new evidence to the capital structure of Sharia-compliant manufacturing companies.
