The characteristics of DPS in this study are size, expertise, education level, cross-membership, and reputation. This research uses secondary data in the form of annual financial statements obtained from the official websites of 15 Islamic banks in Indonesia for the 2015-2021 period. The sample selection method is by making the entire population into a sample so that 96 samples are obtained. The analysis carried out was a classical assumption test, panel data regression analysis, and additional analysis, namely a robustness test using the Eviews 9.0 statistical application. The hypothesis tests used are the F test, t test, and determination test (R2). The results of the analysis showed that simultaneously the size of DPS, DPS expertise, DPS education level, DPS cross-membership, DPS reputation, and risk-taking had a significant effect on the performance of Islamic banks. Partially, the variables of DPS expertise, DPS reputation, and risk-taking have a significant effect on the performance of Islamic banks. The variables of DPS size, DPS education level, and DPS cross-membership did not have a significant effect on the performance of Islamic banks.} }
