description: More equitable and sustainable human development is a step towards a prosperous society. To achieve this prosperity requires an approach through various aspects. This study aims to look at welfare in Indonesia through incoming capital (FDI and PMDN), the role of Regional Government Expenditures, Gender Empowerment, Information and Communication Technology), as well as social aspects (Unemployment, Poverty and Population). This research in 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2017 to 2021 uses the panel data regression method. The results of this study indicate that PMA (Foreign Investment) and the Percentage of Poor People (PPM) have a negative effect on people's welfare. PMDN (Domestic Investment), Regional Government Expenditures, and the ICT Development Index have a positive effect on the Human Development Index. While the variable Gender Empowerment Index, the percentage of open population and the population have no effect on the index of people's welfare in Indonesia during the study period.
