This study explores the factors that influence discipline character among junior high school students (SMP). The research aims to describe the factors contributing to discipline character based on interviews with students, parents, and a teacher-founder of an educational foundation. Through qualitative analysis of interview results, the study found that both internal and external factors contribute to students' discipline character. Internal factors such as motivation, responsibility, and time management play significant roles in shaping their discipline. Students tend to be more disciplined in rules that offer rewards or are enjoyable. However, challenges arise in managing school and household responsibilities, necessitating further guidance. External factors, including school environment and social norms, also play a role in shaping discipline habits. Parental involvement and consistent role modeling emerged as crucial factors in shaping students' discipline character. Parents actively providing positive examples and maintaining consistent discipline behaviors, along with effective supervision of gadget usage, greatly impact students' discipline. The pandemic intensified parental support and supervision for remote learning. In conclusion, parental and teacher roles are pivotal in nurturing students' discipline character. Encouraging character education programs, counseling services, balanced technology usage, and student involvement in planning their responsibilities can significantly enhance discipline among junior high school students. %Z Pembimbing: Dr. Raden Rachmy Diana, S.
