Widowed women are different from women who are still girls, widowed women have complexities in viewing a remarriage. This study aims to find out the perspectives of divorced widows regarding remarriage and the factors that influence their views. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. This study involved three Muslim widow informants. The informants were obtained through a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using the interview method with the three informants. The results of this study indicate that the perspective of remarriage in Muslim widows includes positive and negative views, emotional desire for remarriage as well as attitude/decision & motivation to remarry. Remarriage is felt to be needed as a fulfillment of one's own needs to get love and an imam in the family, the need to present a father figure for children, and a partner to earn a living. Meanwhile, on the other hand, there is a less positive view of remarriage, including feeling content with the current state of widowhood and worries about getting a man like the previous partner. These positive and negative perspectives are influenced by factors such as personal motives and attitudes towards the future, parental support, expectations for oneself and children, and the trauma of divorce.
