This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study. development refers to the 4 D model which includes 4 steps, namely (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, (4) disseminate. This research was carried out until the develop stage, limited to the assessme nt stage. The research instrument is a product assessment instrument validation and product assessment width. The data obtained in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. Qua litative data is criticism and suggestions from the assessor while qu antitative data is the scores obtained from the assessor. Quantitative data were analyzed using a Likert scale with 5 answer options "very poor", "less", "enough", "good", "very good". The results of this research are (1) a virtual experimental design based on PhET (Physics Education and Technology) has been developed which contains five experiments namely Boyle's law experiment, Gay Lussac's law experiment, ideal gas equation experiment , effective gas velocity experiment, average velocity experiment .
