This study uses Research and Development (R&D) research. The development procedure in this study uses a 4-D model which includes 4 stages, namely (1) define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research is limited to the development stage, namely extensive trials. The instruments used in this study were instrument validation sheets, e-module assessment sheets, and student response sheets. While the assessment of the quality of e-modules using the STEM approach to facilitate the critical thinking skills of class XI students uses a Likert scale with 4 scales and student responses use a Guttman scale in the form of a checklist. The results of this study resulted in a temperature and heat e-module with a STEM approach to facilitate the critical thinking skills of class XI SMA/MA students. The quality of the e-module based on the assessment of material experts and media experts in the first stage has very good criteria (SB) with an average score of 3.74 and 3.37 and the physics teacher's assessment has a very good category (SB) with an average score of 3 ,78. Students' responses to limited tests were obtained in the agreed category (S) with an average score of 0.89. The quality of the e-module based on the assessment of material experts and media experts in the second stage has very good criteria (SB) with an average score of 3.87 and 3.67 and the physics teacher's assessment has a very good category (SB) with an average score of 3, 97.
