The method used in this study is a experimental method with a nonequivalent kontrol group design using 2 samples as a kontrol class (conventional learning model/PBL) and experimental class (type TGT cooperative learning model). Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling based on the direction of the Biology teacher. Data collection used a questionnaire sheet instrument to collect data on motivation to learn Biology and test questions to retrieve data on Biology learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed using the Mann Whitney U Test data analysis technique for motivational data and student learning outcomes. Based on the results of study, that: There is no effect of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) cooperative learning model on the motivation to study biology in XI grade students at MAN 1 Bojonegoro, it is proven by the sig. 0,8902 > α (0.05) then Ha is rejected. There is an effect of the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) type of cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of XI grade students at MAN 1 Bojonegoro, it is proven by sig 0,0002 < α (0.05) then Ho is rejected.
