Related to this, it requires a big contribution for all components, especially schools. Regarding this issue, MTs Muhammadiyah Bantul realizes the importance of character education and choose to use the Living Values Education perspective as a perspective in implementing students? character values. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of character education through Living Values Education at MTs Muhammadiyah Bantul, and the implementation of Living Values Education This study uses a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Methods of data collection are carried out by researchers by way of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used is the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Test the validity of the data used in the study, namely using source triangulation techniques and method triangulation. The results of this study indicate that (1) Implementation of Character Education through LVE at MTs Muhammadiyah Bantul includes, First, a valuebased atmosphere at MTs Muhammadiyah Bantul. The Core Values of MTs Muhammadiyah Bantul that appear in a values-based atmosphere are the values of inclusiveness, courtesy, sincerity, empathy, compassion, and trustworthiness. Independent and moderate values have not been seen in a values-based atmosphere at MTs Muhammadiyah Bantul. Second, the activity revives values at MTs Muhammadiyah Bantul. The Core Values of MTs Muhammadiyah Bantul that appear in the activities of enlivening the values here are inclusive values (life skills, inclusive teaching, and learning), polite values (3S activities, Javanese manners), mercy values (policies dealing with orphan costs), and trust values (IPM and POMG). Values that do not appear in activities turn values into sincere, independent, moderate, and empathetic values. (2) The impact of implementing LVE at MTs Muhammadiyah Bantu can already be seen in the aspects of values awareness, transformation, well-being, connectedness and agency.
