Ag. abstract: This research is motivated by the widespread dissemination of information, making it difficult for children to differentiate between positive and negative information, resulting in a lack of understanding of the purpose of child education in Q.S Maryam verses 16-40 (study of Hamka's interpretation). This study aims to determine: 1) the concept and purpose of child education in Q.S Maryam verses 16-40 (study of Hamka's interpretation). 2) the concept of educational content for children in Q.S Maryam verses 16-40 (study of Hamka's interpretation). 3) the concept of child educational methods in Q.S Maryam verses 16-40 (study of Hamka's interpretation). This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of research being a Literature Review. The method used is educational interpretation (tarbawi interpretation) and case study. The educational interpretation method involves interpreting educational verses by identifying the subject, understanding, and concluding their content. A case study is research aimed at intensive study of a specific social unit, including individuals, groups, institutions, and society. The data collection method is documentation, collecting data from primary sources by examining the content of Tafsir Al-Azhar Volume 6 by Hamka related to child education, and secondary sources that support the research topic on the concept of child education in Q.S Maryam verses 16-40 (study of Hamka's interpretation). The data analysis technique uses content analysis, describing, interpreting the existing content, and expert opinions on the concept of child education in Q.S Maryam verses 16-40 (study of Hamka's interpretation).
