Biodiesel synthesis from waste cooking oil (WCO) using magnetit nanoparticle modified petai peel (Parkia speciosa Hassk) catalyst has been carried out. This research aimed to study the functional group characterization and cristallinity of Fe3O4-PSH and to study the quality comparison of biodiesel product toward SNI 7182:2015 which synthesize in different temperature and time reaction. The synthesis of Fe3O4-PSH catalyst was carried out through co-precipitation method. The characterization of Fe3O4-PSH catalyst was performed using FTIR (Fourier Transform Infra-Red) and XRD (X-ray Diffraction). Biodiesel synthesis was carried out by varying temperature and time of transesterification reaction. Functional group characterization showed the Fe-O bond on catalyst and its cristallinity index agreed to JCPDS data (Joint Committee on Powder Diffraction Standards), (220), (311), (400), (511), dan (440). Study of temperature reaction variations on 40, 60, and 80 oC produced biodiesel yield of 88,33; 89,54; and 84,58%. Study of time reaction variations on 30, 60, and 90 minutes produced biodiesel yield of 86,88; 89,54; and 90,91%. Quality analysis of biodiesel products produced in this research has complied to SNI 7182:2015, except for water content parameter and acid number at temperature 80 oC and time reaction 90 minute.
