Parents as care and children as the target of care. Through parents, children will learn to respond to other people, get to know themselves and even learn to manage their emotions. Parents, by applying parenting to children affects the impact that will be responded by children so parents must also pay attention to the type of parenting used. This study aims to hear a description of the symptoms of temper tantrums from parents' upbringing and an overview of parenting styles in dealing with children who experience symptoms of temper tantrums. This study used qualitative methods with descriptive-analytic techniques and data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews with parents of children with symptoms of temper tantrums. This study found a description of the symptoms of temper tantrums from parents' parenting style, namely mild tantrums for children with democratic parenting styles. For example, children don't push their will too much when parents explain well the intent and purpose of why parents refuse. And big tantrums for children with authoritarian parenting. Like, fighting back when scolded. Or choose to be silent and precipitate emotions that children should finish, there are even children whose crying gets worse when parents try to stop the child's crying. So that shows a picture of how parents deal with symptoms of temper tantrums. with, 1. Pinching a child if the child's tantrums are considered to be disturbing the surroundings. 2. Finding out the cause of child tantrums. 3. Let the child tantrum until it calms down. And, 4.
