description: Shops and retailers take advantage of technology and the internet in the form of supporting applications that can sell and market products, and wooden story stores are no exception. In this case, a wooden story store needs promotional tools so that more people can reach the store and make transactions easier, therefore it is necessary to develop a user-friendly web-based application.  This study aims to produce a solution in the form of a web-based e-commerce system design at the Wooden Story Store in Purbalingga. Research data such as product photos are collected through documentation techniques. The system development method used in this study is the extreme programming method, which has stages in the form of planning, designing, coding, and testing.  The results showed that the Wooden Story Store had succeeded in designing and building an online sales information system using the extreme programming method. This conclusion is based on the results of testing the system using alpha testing and beta testing. In the alpha test, the results show that every feature and function that has been designed is not found to be a failure in the process in the system. Meanwhile, in beta testing, two aspects were tested, namely functionality and usability. In the beta functionality test, it was found that all statements with a value of "YES" reached 100%. Meanwhile, based on usability beta testing, as many as 20 respondents were satisfied with the system developed in this study.
