abstract: The rapid advancement of information technology has changed the way information is disseminated and accessed in various sectors of life. In the context of procurement of goods and services, transparency and efficiency are the main keys to achieving improvements and enhancing the performance of an agency. UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogykarta as one of the educational institutions in the process of procuring goods and services has used the E-Catalog system from the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute. The author sees the need to develop an independent E-Catalog system for the procurement of goods and services with small transaction value and to present providers from D.I Yogyakarta. By developing an independent E-Catalog system, the authors hope that this research can be the beginning of the development of an online-based goods and services procurement system for UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
The development of the E-Catalog Application for the Procurement of Goods and Services at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogykarta includes two methods, namely the data collection method and the system development method. In the data collection method, the authors obtain data by conducting interviews, observations, and reviewing the literature. In developing the system, the author uses the extreme programming method, which is an object-oriented development method that is faster, more responsive, and better suited to the needs of system development. The extreme programming method consists of planning, design, coding, and testing stages.
The purpose of this research is to design and develop the E-Catalog Application for the Procurement of Goods and Services at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta using the Extreme Programming Method. The results that have been obtained in system development are that the author has succeeded in developing most of the features in the procurement of goods and services, and for features that have not been successfully achieved, further development is needed to achieve even better system quality.
