ALIS JAYA CIPTATAMA)}, school = {UIN SUNAN KALIJAGA YOGYAKARTA}, author = {NIM.: 19106060038 Yudhaka Janardana W}, year = {2023}, note = {Pembimbing: Ir. The maximum target percentage of product acceptance that is defective by the company from each production is 2\%. However, there are several problems and the amount of production is erratic so that it can cause the amount of production that experiences defects to exceed the maximum percentage limit, which is 3\% to 5\% in the Mill 1 section in each production. From the analysis and discussion, the types of product defects include cracked holes, knots, laminations, fibers, and colors. The resulting sigma and DPMO values are 4.67 and 46,934.74. Factors causing defects include humans, methods, environment, materials, and machines that cause problems in the production process. The method used in this research is Six Sigma with the DMAIC approach (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). The proposed improvement solutions are supervising and directing the production process, cycle time accuracy, creating work schemes, implementing raw material inspection procedures, checking and maintaining machines, examining the quality of raw materials, and improving the safety and cleanliness of the work environment. With the implementation of these corrective measures, it is expected to minimize the number of defects in component WE.18.03 and improve the company's product quality in a sustainable manner.} }
