Alis Jaya Ciptatama is a company located in Ceper, Klaten Regency which is engaged in the furniture industry. One of the products produced by PT. Alis Jaya Ciptatama is a wine rack. In the production process in the company, there is still waste and also many activities that do not add value to the product. To reduce the amount of waste that occurs, a lean manufacturing approach is used by using value stream mapping to map production flow and product information flow. In addition, fishbone diagrams and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) are used to identify the root cause of problems and determine the priority of waste-related failures in the company. From the results of the study, there are five wastes from seven wastes and four problems that have priority to be corrected by providing improvement proposals to the company. The improvement recommendations given from the four critical problems are by emphasizing SOPs in the form of posters containing product packaging procedures in the packaging production section, providing training or workshops, especially for new employees who are not proficient in operating machines, periodic machine maintenance to avoid waiting, and checking machines that have parts that often run out or replace.} }
