Additionally, numerous eminent Ulama from around the world have compiled the fundamental justifications for the adoption of waqf. The definition of waqf and the manner in which it is implemented, however, have evolved throughout time. Waqf objects were initially only allowed to be fixed structures like buildings, wells, and other real estate. Some Islamic scholars now believe that mobile property can be utilized as waqf. The most recent advancements, specifically blockchain technology in the 4.0 age, have had a significant impact on the digital business. The impact of this blockchain technology can be stated to be quite broad and extend beyond the realm of science to include the world of religion. One such is the pioneering use of blockchain technology in waqf activities by the financial firm Finterra WaqfChain, based in Singapore. This is unquestionably quite intriguing because it incorporates the most recent technology with waqf practice. Because this phenomenon combines the newest scientific technology with objects used in religious worship, two very disparate domains. The research type that follows is a philosophical descriptive kind that is based on literature. The method of data analysis employs qualitative methods. techniques for gathering data utilizing the literature method. The findings of this study lead to the conclusion that various nations, including Singapore, Malaysia, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Hong Kong, have applied blockchain technology to waqf. According to the idea of Istihsan bil 'Urf, which interprets Islamic law, this blockchain-based waqf practice pattern is in keeping with the syara’ purpose of waqf, which is to improve or extend the advantages of waqf assets.
