%X Many research studies discussing religious tourism have been carried out and generally focus on visiting tombs, both the tombs of heroes and scholars. In contrast to the present study, researchers are focusing on museums. Museums, which are generally museums as a place to commemorate history and cultural values, however, are different from the Aceh Tsunami Museum apart from cultural and historical values, this museum displays the tragedy of the disaster and its Islamic values, both in terms of concept, architecture, illustrations, collections and the art in it. The purpose of building the Aceh Tsunami Museum is to commemorate the natural disaster that hit Aceh in 2004. This research focuses on the formulation of the problem, namely: 1). What is the motivation of tourists visiting the Aceh Tsunami Museum? 2) How does the Aceh Tsunami Museum give religiosity to tourists? The theory used in this research is the push-pull factor motivation theory developed by Heather R. Allman and the religiosity theory from Glock & Stark. This research is a field research with a qualitative research type with a phenomenological qualitative approach, by obtaining research data through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate the various motivations of tourists visiting the Aceh Tsunami Museum, including namely. The first is Dark Experience, which is to remember the Tsunami incident which touches directly emotionally, namely anxiety, fear and sadness, the second is engaging entertainment motivation, namely to get experiences that can provide a sense of empathy for the victims of the Tsunami, the curiosity evoked, indirectly tourists can feel what the victims who were hit by the disaster, the third is unique learning experience motivation, namely, to add insight, knowledge and experience from the Tsunami incident in Aceh and the fourth is Causal Interest, namely, to fill spare time, distance themselves from routine, or just for a walk. The Aceh Tsunami Museum embodies the impression of religious values for tourists, among other things, firstly as a medium for contemplation of disasters, secondly increasing knowledge about divinity and thirdly increasing faith and devotion.
