        abstract = {Religious moderation is a safe middle way in realizing the character of Islam as a teaching that is rahmatan lil 'alamin in the midst of a plurality of nations and states. Therefore, religious moderation is one of the Ministry of Religion's flagship programs that must be published and realized to the wider community through various existing subjects, instruments and media. The Obsession Podcast is a communication channel that is utilized by the Directorate General of Islamic Community Guidance in providing education and guidance for Islamic religious educators and the wider community. From this background, research was conducted to determine the values of religious moderation, and the response of social media users in building religious moderation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This study attempts to describe research findings that originate from observations and documentation on the Obsession Podcast content on YouTube. Apart from that, research data was also obtained through an interview process with Islamic Religious Counselors. This research uses the diffusion of innovation theory, uses and gratifications (U\&G) theory, and the concept of religious moderation. The indicators of religious moderation used are commitment to nationality, tolerance, anti-violence, and accommodative to culture. From this research, the authors found that the content of the Obsession podcast is in accordance with Islamic teachings, Pancasila ideology, Bhineka Tunggal Ika, and UUD 1945. And its application also puts forward divine norms, humanitarian norms, cultural norms, and social norms. The response to the Obsession podcast has three stages, namely, the stage of accepting and rejecting religious moderation, the stage of inviting the need to build religious moderation, and the stage of implementing religious moderation as an effort to harmonize social life.}
