N2  - Technology in today's digital era has experienced significant progress. With the help of technology, humans can make it easier to do daily work for companies, individuals, or library organizations. One of the technologies that can be applied to improve services in the library is to utilize cloud computing technology or cloud computing. In general, this study aims to determine the types, model implementation, and stages of implementation of cloud computing and to find out the understanding of librarians about cloud computing and the obstacles encountered in implementing cloud computing technology at the Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study type. The subjects in this study were technical librarians at the Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. While the object of this study is cloud computing technology in collection services at the Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Collecting data in this study using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that cloud computing has been used by the Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga in its collection services to store various data such as photos, videos, Microsoft Office files, and pdfs. The Library of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta uses the type of cloud computing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) using a private cloud model. The obstacles faced when implementing cloud computing were during its procurement and damage to the hard disk slot in the private cloud
