%X The analysis, titled Analysis of the Makerspace Concept in Spencer Public  Libraries in Memoir “Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched The  World”, aims to find out how the makerspace concept is applied in the Spencer  Public Library, Iowa, United States depicted in a memoir by Vicki Myron and  Brett Witter. This research was compiled using a qualitative descriptive method  with a data collection model through library research. Data analysis carried out  by researchers uses content analysis studies and credibility test as a test of the  validity of the data. The research that has been carried out describes several  applications of the makerspace concept in the Spencer Public Library, including;  a) meeting/discussion facilities and b) learning room. Both of the services were in  place when Vicki Myron served as director of the library from 1987 to 2007. The  results of the analysis carried out on the application of the makerspace concept  are; a) availability of co-working space, b) self-improvement, and c) library  promotional media. The research conducted limited to its application in the  Spencer Public Library refers to Memoir “Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat  Who Touched The World” as the first reference source.
