        abstract = {This study describes the socio-religious movement of Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah in Jember Regency. The assumption of this research is that Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah is a modern Islamic organization. This means that this movement has a renewal pattern that indirectly intersects with the majority of cultural Islamic organizations in Jember Regency. This research answers questions about: the history of the founding of Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Jember; the socio-religious movement of Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Jember; and how the Jember community responds to the existence of Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah in Jember Regency. This study uses the historical method with a structural sociological approach. To answer this question, the researcher uses an analytical knife from Sidney G. Tarrow that says there are four variables that determine social movements, namely: first, common goals; second, collective challenge; third, social solidarity; and fourth, build interaction. The findings in this study are essentially that socio-religious factors are one of the keys to building the Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah movement in Jember Regency. The socio-religious version of Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Jember does not lie in the theory of theological doctrine. The socio-religious dimension in the Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Jember movement lies precisely in the aspect of identity and the formality of forms that develop and shape the face of the movement in accordance with the direction and substance of each program, which includes education, socio-economics, and da'wah. None other than the movement is harmonized with the reality of the Islamic community in Jember Regency. This is the foundation that paved the way for the socio-religious development of Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Jember to this day.}
