Jogokariyan Mosque is a place of worship which is known as the\r\nmosque that saves the people. starting from pioneering to the economic\r\ndevelopment of the Jogokariyan mosque. The purpose of this study is to\r\nexplain the role and function of the Jogokariyan mosque and its influence\r\non the people of Yogyakarta (1999-2022). Finally, explaining the success\r\nand success of the Jogokariyan mosque, such as receiving an award from\r\nthe government in the form of a certificate that the Jogokariyan mosque is\r\nan example of a national mosque. This study uses a sociological approach,\r\nthere are three concepts used, namely, economy, mosque and society. Social\r\ninteraction and change using historical methods, among others, heuristics,\r\ncriticism, interpretation and historiography.\r\nThe results of this study indicate changes in the economy of the\r\nJogokariyan mosque (1999-2022). The people of Jogokariyan are also\r\nexperiencing very rapid social changes. The economic progress of the\r\nJogokariyan mosque with the existence of a mosque-based business, daring\r\nto open employment opportunities, being able to provide subsidies to the\r\nJogokariyan community in the form of basic food items, in the form of\r\nhealth polyclinics, minimizing poverty and unemployment. the social\r\nprogress of the Jogokariyan community starting from formal education,\r\nproviding an Islamic Center Hall for worshipers who want seminars or\r\ncomparative studies and inviting the community to increase religious\r\ntourism.\r\nJogokariyan Mosque is one of the people's paths to benefit, prosperity\r\nand welfare.
