Adolescents in their development period do not yet have cognitive and emotional maturity and are not yet stable, so they are vulnerable to carrying out aggressive actions that lead to violence, and tend to carry out bullying. Cases of bullying that are widespread among school teenagers at both junior and senior high school levels need to be handled seriously by the school, especially for guidance and counseling teachers by running guidance and counseling programs at school. This research aims to determine and describe the stages of individual counseling to overcome bullying behavior at SMP Negeri 2 Sewon Bantul. This research is field research with qualitative-descriptive methods. The method for selecting research subjects was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The subjects of this research included guidance and counseling teachers and students who had experienced bullying. The data collection methods used were interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis method used in this research includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the stages of individual counseling to overcome bullying behavior at SMP Negeri 2 Sewon Bantul have four stages, namely: first stage (Building relationships), second stage (Identification of problems and assessment of problems), third stage (Facilitating change counseling), and fourth stage (Evaluation and termination). %Z Pembimbing: A.
