abstract: In conveying da'wah messages to women via the YouTube channel, Ustadzah Haneen Akira must have a careful approach to the female audience. Many religious clerics do not fully understand the issues relevant to women in a religious context, including the role of women in society and specific personal issues that affect the family. Da'wah messages should encourage women to develop their potential, obtain education, participate actively in society, and fight for their rights in accordance with religious principles. Active interaction with female mad'u, by answering their questions wisely and providing practical solutions, is the key to building a strong relationship between Ustadzah and female mad'u.
This research study discusses the use of YouTube as a medium for da'wah and analysis of Ustadzah Haneen Akira's discourse in the Haneen Akira x Shift Ladies Program on the YouTube Channel. This research is library research using descriptive analysis methods, namely by collecting data, compiling or clarifying, compiling and interpreting them and using Van Dijk's discourse analysis approach as an effort to examine and research texts, social cognition and social context of position. Women in Islam are women as career women, women as mothers, women as wives, women as members of society, women in politics.
This researcher found that the benefits of YouTube media act as a conveyor of information, educational content and as an interactive discussion space. In the "Haneen Akira x Shift Ladies" program, this analysis reveals that the preaching for women by Ustadzah covers the topic of the position of women in Islam, emphasizing the values in Islamic teachings. Van Dijk's social cognition emphasizes that Islamic teachings provide full recognition of women's rights, increase women's self-worth, and provide equal protection. However, in a social context, women in Islam are considered a minority group who have limited access to social resources.
