The research method used by researchers is a quantitative research method with data collection methods through questionnaires. The sampling technique used a convenience sampling technique with a total sample of 340 students who actively use Instagram in Yogyakarta. The research results show that the intensity of Instagram use and self-control are positively correlated with consumer behavior. The results of the study show that the intensity of Instagram use has a significant positive relationship with consumptive behavior. This shows that the higher the intensity of Instagram use, the higher the consumptive behavior of students. And then lower the intensity of Instagram use, the lower the consumptive behavior of students. The results also show that self-control is negatively related to consumptive behavior. This shows that the higher the self-control, the lower the consumptive behavior of students. And then, the lower the self-control, the higher the level of consumer behavior possessed by students. %Z Pembimbing: Muslim Hidayat, M.A.
