%X This research aims to determine the relationship between FOMO (fear of missing out) with social media addiction in teenagers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The number of subjects in this research was 400 people. The data collection tool for this research uses 2 scales, namely the social media addiction scale with a reliability value of 0.913, and the FOMO scale (fear of missing out) with a reliability value of 0.771. The sampling technique used in this research is engineering incidental sampling.The analytical method used in this research is correlationpearson product moment with a result of 0.818 and a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.00 < 0.05, which means the results of this study have a relationship between FOMO (fear of missing out) with social media addiction in the form of positive relationships. It can be concluded that the higher the FOMO (fear of missing out) then social media addiction will also increase and vice versa
