The number of subjects in this research was 400 people. The data collection tool for this research uses 2 scales, namely the social media addiction scale with a reliability value of 0.913, and the FOMO scale (fear of missing out) with a reliability value of 0.771. The sampling technique used in this research is engineering incidental sampling.The analytical method used in this research is correlationpearson product moment with a result of 0.818 and a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.00 < 0.05, which means the results of this study have a relationship between FOMO (fear of missing out) with social media addiction in the form of positive relationships.
