This research uses a qualitative approach qualitative descriptive method. Data collection using open-ended questionnaire and confirmed by Focus Group Discussion. Research informants consist of 30 people who have criteria that match research needs. Determination of informants using purposive sampling techniques with informant criteria in research, namely; 1) Working more than 40 hours a week, 2) 1995-2010, 3) Domiciled in Yogyakarta Province. Based on the results of the study, it is known that generation Z working more than the specified time is not a workaholic worker, but a form of loyalty at work. Generation Z works to take responsibility for making ends meet, driven by intrinsic motivation. Work with good productivity to fulfill responsibilities to the company / organization where work. Generation Z needs work comfort supported by physical and non-physical work environments. Requires professional competence and expertise that can help his career in work. As for some other findings obtained by researchers, namely; First, the informant stated that men's self-esteem was high for work. Second, informants interpret work as worship. Third, be optimistic at work that there is no failure at work. Fourth, the factor that influences work patterns is the difference in work culture in Yogyakarta from the region of origin of generation Z.
